          Do I qualify if my roof is older?
        
          We’re a roofing contractor, so we’re not going to bolt a system on top of a failing roof. 

          We inspect first. If the roof needs work, we can replace that slope or the full system and roll it into the project so you’re not putting brand new panels on bad decking or brittle shingles.
        
          What happens when the power goes out?
        
          Solar panels by themselves do not keep the lights on in an outage. 

          Powerwall does. We design your system with battery backup so critical loads — fridge, lights, Wi-Fi, medical, garage, etc. — stay up even if the grid drops.
        
          How fast can this be installed?
        
          Typical timeline is: site eval → design → permits/utility approval → install → activation.
          We handle all of that. Actual physical install is usually 1–2 days once approvals are in.
        
          Is there still a tax credit?
        
          Most homeowners can qualify for a federal clean energy credit on solar and battery storage.
          We’ll lay out how that applies to you in the proposal. Talk to your tax professional to confirm how you personally can claim it.
        
          Can I finance it?
        
          Yes. We can structure low or zero down, and in a lot of cases the payment is designed to sit near what you’re already paying the power company. You’re basically shifting money from “utility bill” to “asset on your house.”
        
          Will I get credit for extra energy I send back?
        
          In Texas, it depends on your utility/retail energy provider and their buyback/net credit program.
          We’ll show you how much you can offset with generation and how Powerwall can store the rest instead of giving it back cheap.
